An electronic ticket sales and visitor registration system was launched in Bolgar.

On May 21, 2016, the visitor registration system developed and implemented by Infomatika's experts was launched in the historical museum complex "The Great Bolgar".

The options of terminals and online ticket sales were personally studied by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who visited the historical complex as part of the festivities for regular anniversary of conversion of the Volgian Bulgaria to Islam.

The installed system will allow sufficiently reducing queues of cash desks of the complexes and will make it more comfortable to visit the historical and architectural centers. In addition, the movement of tourists is tracked by two special cameras using which the attendance analysis is carried out. This allows defining the most popular directions and organizing excursions on this basis.

As part of the first stage, the entrance unit next to the west gates of the museum complex was arranged. There are also turnstiles. It is possible to pass through turnstiles after purchasing a ticket at cash desk, on the service portal, as well as in the infomat network. It should be noted that the ticket purchased on the service portal need not to be printed out: its barcode can be shown using phone or brought to the reader.

At the second stage of the project development, it is planned to install similar cash desks and terminals next to the south gates and the River Port.It bears reminding that earlier the similar system has been launched on the town-island of Sviyazhsk, which according to latest data was visited by more than 13 thousand people from May 06 to 20.
