The Minister of Culture of Russia estimated the ticket project of RT

On February 2, 2019, G. Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater held the final Board meeting of RT Ministry of Culture. The participants included the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiyev, Secretary-General of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, Ambassador-at-Large of the MFA of Russia Grigory Ordzhonikidze, Chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers of Tatarstan, the Kamal Theatre Director Farid Bikchentayev, and others.

Before the beginning of the Board, the participants took a look at the exposition of the main cultural projects of the Republic. One of the first projects demonstrated to the guests was the Ticketing Project of the Republic of Tatarstan, which has been implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2008.The project integrator is Infomatika. As part of this project, on the basis of Lenta ACS ticketing system, our company has created a regional aggregation system that allows online connecting of any number of facilities to a single sales system.

Since 2008, we have automated and connected to a single ticket sales system in Tatarstan 15 cultural institutions, four Kazan professional sports clubs, two expocenters and the largest historical and architectural open-air museums "Island-town Sviyazhsk" and the Bolgar Museum-Reserve.The ticketing system data are used to analyze sales and attendance (by visitor categories) both per facility and for the institutions as a whole.

To date, tickets for cultural and sports events taking place in the Republic can be purchased at par through the public services portal, the official RT Services mobile application, a network of infomats, online stores on theaters/museums/sports clubs' websites, as well as through ticket operators.  A single ticket space and no quotas allow customers to choose the most suitable ticketing resource and the organizers to more effectively manage sales channels and optimize marketing costs.

When speaking about the online theater tickets sale system operating in the region, Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky suggested that Tatarstan should create a similar Federal system. 'I've seen your unified ticketing system. Though it was but a fleet glance, it looks very attractive,'  said Russian Minister of Culture. 'So far, we cannot create a system that would cover the Federal theaters,' Vladimir Medinsky said. 'It's quite complicated. If your techs are able to create on the basis of your system a system that will cover all the theatres of the Russian Federation in terms of recording and a unified and effective system of sales, in addition to the old one... Well, we will consider erecting a monument to you, not only in Kazan,' - said the Minister of Culture of Russia.
