TSACS for ice sports palace

August 15, 2023 On August 13, 2023, Ice Sports Palace Sibir-Arena, the largest sports facility beyond the Urals, opened its doors in Novosibirsk.The multipurpose arena is the new home stadium of Sibir hockey club and Siberian Snipers youth team.

The official opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Chairman of RF State Duma Alexander Zhukov and First Deputy Minister of Sports of Russia Azat Kadyrov. The six-story ice palace's main arena can accommodate 10.5 thousand spectators.

The total area of the facility is 71.2 thousand square meters.Sibir-Arena was created by the instructions of Russian President and as part of the federal project Sport Is the Life Standard of the national Demography project.

Infomatika was contracted to provide ticket sales and access control automation by comprehensive equipment of the ice palace with Lenta TSACS.Spectator access control is provided on two security circuits of the Ice Sports Palace.

The outer contour of the ice palace is equipped with 38 passages with full-height turnstiles outfitted with Infomatika's Interactive Multipurpose Control Modules with built-in barcode/QR code readers, a large color screen, and a facial recognition IP camera.

The internal security circuit was equipped with 37 Horizon half-height smart turnstiles and a Navigator smart gate to enable limited mobility visitors access the facility. Mobile Lenta Data Terminal terminals are used by stewards to check ticket as additional access control equipment.

For online ticket sales, Infomatika has developed and launched an online store on Siberia Arena website.

Integration with external ticket agents allows selling tickets both through the facility's ticket offices and the official online ticket store and through ticket operators.

The ticket system will be integrated with a facial recognition system and a parking system. 

Automation of operations makes it comfortable and reliable for spectators to access events, leaving no room for human error.
