Turnstiles for Yekaterinburg metro

On December 28, 2023, smart turnstiles manufactured by Infomatika were put into operation at the Ploshchad 1905 Goda metro station in Yekaterinburg.Yekaterinburg Mayor Aleksey Orlov, metro Director Andrey Panaiotidi and Chairman of the Ural Bank of Sberbank Dmitry Sukhoverkhov came to check the operation of smart turnstiles at the central metro station.

10 Contour EK smart turnstiles have been installed in the the Ploshchad 1905 Goda station entrance space with the support of Sberbank in partnership with I-Set transport operator.

The high-tech turnstiles were designed specifically for the Yekaterinburg metro, are made of stainless steel and tempered glass, and equipped with built-in readers, a large color display and intelligent light indication.Access can be paid by transport and bank cards, including the Uralochka social card, by smartphone using the SberPay and Mir Pay applications, as well as by classic tokens.Other payment methods are also under development. Thus, tokens will be replaced with QR-coded tickets by the end of 2024.

Card payment technology is based on the Transport processing platform of the National Payment Card System.The next station to be equipped with the new terminals will be the Geologicheskaya. The work will start in March 2024.

The equipment at the rest of the eight stations of the Urals capital will be further updated. All the turnstiles will be replaced by the end of 2024.As part of the project, Infomatika has performed a full range of work to install, commission, and integrate the equipment with the I-Set transport operator system and the Udobny Marshrut fare payment system.2023-12-29-12-05-18-aokth8_720x0_0bd.jpg
