2018 FIFA World Cup

On June 14, 2018, the FIFA World Cup kicked off in Russia, which takes place in 11 cities: Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, and Yekaterinburg. To date, each of the 12 stadiums have hosted the first Championship group stage matches attended by more than half a million people. The level of the event requires maximum responsibility and consistency on the part of participants and organizers. That is why, before the start of the Championship, a series of test matches were held at each stadium to check the readiness of all services, from logistics to security.

The specialists of our company were directly involved in preparation and testing of the ticketing system at five stadiums of the Championship: in Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Samara and Saransk. LENTA ticketing system installed at these stadiums was successfully tested during test matches and will be used at football arenas after the end of the Championship.

On the days of the 2018 World Cup matches, Infomatika engineers are present at Kaliningrad, Kazan Arena, Rostov Arena, Mordovia Arena and Samara Arena stadiums, helping to support the access system.
