Equipping the arrival and the exit zones with smart access control turnstiles.

Implemented in 2022

The G.I.Nevelsky International Airport is a large federal airport in the capital of the Khabarovsk Krai. The airport accommodates and services aircraft of Russian and international airlines. In accordance with RF Government Decree On Transport Security*, Infomatika equipped Khabarovsk International Airport with high-tech Contour Classic smart turnstiles.

The Contour Classic half-height swing smart turnstiles are installed in the arrival area and in the areas of passengers' exit from the airport to the city. Access control equipment prevents unauthorized access to the airport, bypassing the inspection area.

The project involved the turnstiles installation in the "normally closed" mode, i.e. they open when the sensors are triggered by passenger entering the turnstile gate.The equipment has two rows of sensors - upper and lower - and is designed to ensure comfortable passage of passengers with luggage of various types and sizes, as well as parents with small children.

Each turnstile is equipped with a card reader to control the change of operating modes by airport security staff. The turnstiles offer a high capacity. In case of emergency, the anti-panic system allows instant opening the passage and providing emergency evacuation.

The project involved:

  • detailed design;

  • supply of hardware and software;

  • installation of 6 passageways of Contour Classic swing half-height turnstiles with multipurpose controllers and a bright color display;

  • commissioning.
